Este proyecto reúne una serie de experimentaciones materiales donde fragmentos de cerámica, elementos orgánicos recolectados, materiales sintéticos y collage se articulan entre sí sin un orden jerárquico preestablecido, resultando en hibridaciones.

Las piezas cerámicas y las imágenes corporales en los collages remiten a corporalidades femeninas como un punto de partida para pensar aquellos cuerpos y materias que históricamente han sido regulados, explotados o forzados a ajustarse a sistemas rígidos de control.

A través del ensamblaje y de una investigación práctica con hilo, biopolímeros y silicón, exploro cómo distintas materialidades se encuentran, se sostienen o entran en tensión. Estas decisiones no funcionan solo como soluciones técnicas, sino como ensayos que permiten observar cómo la materia negocia entre rigidez y flexibilidad, control y apertura, permanencia y transformación.

Los ensamblajes ponen en relación fragmentos donde cada elemento conserva su diferencia, pero se ve afectado por el contacto con otros cuerpos. La coexistencia aparece así como un equilibrio inestable y temporal, siempre susceptible a reconfigurarse.

This project brings together a series of material experiments in which fragments of ceramic, collected organic elements, synthetic materials, and collage are articulated without a pre-established hierarchical order, resulting in hybrid forms.

The ceramic pieces and the bodily images within the collages refer to feminine corporealities as a starting point for thinking about the bodies and materials that have historically been regulated, exploited, or forced to conform to rigid systems of control.

Through assemblage and a hands-on investigation using thread, biopolymers, and silicone, I explore how different materialities encounter one another, support each other, or come into tension. These decisions function not only as technical solutions, but as experiments that allow observing how matter negotiates between rigidity and flexibility, control and openness, permanence and transformation.

The assemblages bring fragments into relation, where each element retains its difference while being affected by contact with other bodies. Coexistence thus appears as an unstable and temporary balance, always susceptible to reconfiguration.
