La gravedad suele pasar desapercibida, aunque sostiene cada gesto y la distancia entre cuerpos. Cuando dejo de darla por hecho, mi cuerpo se siente distinto: más pesado, más vulnerable, más atento a la tierra.
Estas pinturas son una exploración de esa atención a una fuerza compartida que nos mantiene enredados. El cuerpo en movimiento funciona como registro y la pintura se vuelve un punto de encuentro donde los trazos guardan el rastro visible de una relación invisible.
Uso la gravedad como un modo de amplificar mi propia experiencia fenomenológica y al hacerlo, afino mi sensibilidad a otros cuerpos. Estos ejercicios me incomodan: peso más, hay tensión, resistencia. Esa incomodidad, junto con el agua de las tintas empleadas, modifican los trazos sobre el papel.

Gravity often goes unnoticed, even though it holds every gesture and the distance between bodies. When I stop taking it for granted, my body feels different: heavier, more vulnerable, more attentive to the earth.
These paintings explore that attention to a shared force that keeps us entangled. The moving body becomes a form of registering, and the painting becomes a meeting point where the brush strokes hold the visible trace of an invisible relationship.
I use gravity as a way to amplify my own phenomenological experience and, in doing so, sharpen my sensitivity to other bodies. These exercises make me uncomfortable: I weigh more, there is tension, resistance. That discomfort, plus the water in the inks used, alter the traces on the paper.
