Mi práctica es una exploración de vínculos a través de medios diversos como instalación, video, escultura y pintura donde ensayo posibilidades de coexistencia no jerárquicas para compartir y resistir desde lo sensible, imaginando realidades donde lo humano y lo no humano se piensan en relación. Utilizo materiales como la cerámica, biopolímeros y textiles porque me interesa la cualidad mutable, no fija de la materia, con agencia o propiedades que me guían en un proceso de diálogo o vaivén de soltar y contener para pensar lo variable y lo flexible. Procuro la generación de una conciencia del cuerpo humano como eje y puente a otros seres vivos, como lo que conecta y separa, que contiene y a la vez permite el flujo, también así, buscando procesos que me ayuden a soltar la certeza para abrirme a la transformación mutua. Desde esta perspectiva, exploro el ensamblaje, el pliegue y la articulación como metáforas de encuentro entre cuerpos, ya sean humanos, restos naturales o elementos sintéticos, mis piezas suelen habitar la ambigüedad: formas amorfas, híbridas y abiertas que evocan tanto lo orgánico como lo artificial, lo vivo y lo inerte, lo rígido y lo blando, sugiriendo entidades en constante transformación.
My practice is an exploration of relational bonds through diverse media such as installation, video, sculpture, and painting, where I experiment with non-hierarchical possibilities of coexistence, sharing and resisting through sensibility, imagining realities in which the human and the non-human are thought in relation. I work with materials such as ceramics, biopolymers, and textiles because I’m drawn to the mutable, unfixed quality of matter, its agency and properties that guide me through a process of dialogue, a back-and-forth of release and containment, to think through what is variable and flexible. I aim to generate an awareness of the human body as both axis and bridge to other living beings, as that which connects and separates, contains and allows flow. In this way, I seek processes that help me let go of certainty and open myself to mutual transformation. From this perspective, I explore assemblage, folding, and articulation as metaphors for encounters between bodies, whether human, natural remnants, or synthetic elements. My pieces often inhabit ambiguity: amorphous, hybrid, and open forms that evoke both the organic and the artificial, the living and the inert, the rigid and the soft, suggesting entities in continuous transformation.
