Durante 2024, estuve explorando con la pintura como una forma de pensar los espacios liminales, aquellos umbrales donde lo cotidiano y lo trascendental, lo humano y lo natural, lo íntimo y lo político, se entrelazan. Me interesaba trabajar desde la contradicción y la ambigüedad, donde las tensiones entre control y abandono, productividad y espera, interior y exterior, se vuelven materia. En estas exploraciones, la pintura fue un territorio de suspensión y posibilidad.

Throughout 2024, I explored painting as a way to think liminal spaces, those thresholds where the everyday and the transcendental, the human and the natural, the intimate and the political intertwine. I was interested in working from contradiction and ambiguity, where the tensions between control and surrender, productivity and waiting, interior and exterior become matter. In these explorations, painting became a territory of suspension and possibility.
